A Syrian visual artist based in Montreal, QC, is currently working towards a BFA in Studio Arts.

Xina is a Montréal-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting.

Her practice is rooted in emotional mythology - not as metaphor, but as lived material.

She translates inner states, spiritual tension, and embodied memory into symbolic forms that resist decoration and easy consumption. Her work treats the body as a vessel rather than an image: emotional, ancestral, and spiritual at once. Femininity in her practice is not performed or softened, as it exists as force, containment, and quiet intensity. Influenced by abstraction, figuration, celestial symbolism, Arab cultural memory, and Sufi ideas of inward transformation - Xina builds visual environments that ask for presence rather than interpretation.

She is less interested in producing objects than in creating spaces where vulnerability has structure and stillness carries weight.

A diverse collection of multi-media works.
